Woodshire Province

A heavily wooded area that contains many game trails and paths used by travelers to get to other parts of Uttara more quickly. These paths prove to be more dangerous and harder to navigate than the established roads that go around the Province, so Woods Guides are more abundant here to offer their services.

This is also home to the unofficial Capital of Uttara, the Town of Woodshire.

Woodshire Province is also closer to the Norden Mountains and the Great Barrier, which is why there are fewer used roads there, aside the ones to and from Woodshire.

Woodshire

Not a particularly large town, but it does serve as the unofficial Capital of Uttara. The Council of the House meets and resides here, who represent all the different provinces around Uttara.

Timbergrove Woods

Spans almost all of the Woodshire Province and beyond. Very few roads go through it, and the ones that do are seldom traveled unless accompanied by a Woods Guide. There is onloy one major road and that leads from the Town of Woodshire north and out of the Province. This Road is the main means of transportation for the populace of Uttara, but it usually proves to be the longer way around, however safer.

The only reason the rest of it can be dangerous is because of the fact that the lesser used trails combine with alot of game trails, and unguided, people frequently get lost in this emence Forrest, and sometimes sucumb to some of the predators of the woods.

Tarnmere Lake

A large lake nestled at the bottom of a hillside within Timbergrove Woods south west of the town of Woodshire. From the top of the hillside, a viewer can easily see across the lake, as well as the alternating patches of rocky bottom and green weed around the deeper holes at the bottom of the clear water. Tarnmere Lake is boardered by Capon's Trail directly to the east, with the trail running along the bank to the north before turning back west.

Capon's Trail

A trail that went east and west through Timbergrove Woods relativly close to the Norden mountains and the great Norden Barrier, but it was the fastest way to get from Woodshire to Westhaven. (about 4 or 5 days on horseback)

Post Brotherhood Wars

Woodshire is now host to the Warden of the North. It is now a Major Center of Politics and Leadership of everything north of the Norden Mountains.

The Great Norden Barrier is no longer active, which has encouraged more of the Uttaran population to live closer to the southern borders of Uttara.
