People of Sword of the Brotherhood

Xantonia

Cyrus Bahadur

Supreme Regent of the Xantonian Empire. A devout follower of the Founder, a religion that all Xantonians are made to follow. Through his bond with the Founder, he has obtained Sorcerer powers beyond that of mortal men.

His Ultimate Goal is to convert the whole of the world to the Founder's Religion, and claim the power that resided in the Sky Sanctuary.

In the end however, he died trying to manipulate a power that was ultimately beyond him.

General Xedicus

Was Cyrus Bahadur's Second in command. One of the few people who knew Boniface was in fact Boniface Bahadur, son of Cyrus. When Cyrus died, he unwavering served Boniface until the Day of Armageddon.

After that incident, Xedicus got injured and was no longer able to serve as leader of the Xantonian army.

General/Ezra Saul Theago

Initially against Boniface taking up the role of Regency in Xantonia, General Theago had led a rebellion against the crown shortly after the First Brotherhood War. However, after Boniface proved he was indeed worthy by stepping through the Gates of Xantonia, he pledged his undying loyalty to the new Regent.

After the Day of Armaggedon, and General Xedicus was incapacitated; General Theago took up the mantle of Ezra of Xantonia. Elected by the people to serve and to lead the Xantonia Empire.

by the Time Boniface came back fifteen years after the Day of Armageddon, Ezra Theago had reformed the government structure of Xantonia so that the Regent only had ceremonial power.

General David Theago

Son of Ezra Theago, David eventually became the liaison between the Xantonian Empire and Fort Brotherhood.

He eventually married Boniface's and Sultana's daughter Gesebel Alzati to form a union between Penchura and Xantonia.

Privni'Sopka and Stribro'ohen

Privni'Sopka is a Flame Wyrm that lives in the Mitte Mountains. During the First war, Cyrus gained his loyalty by threatening his Egg and unborn child, Stribro'ohen. At the end of the First war, the Brethren of the Sword Saved the egg. Because of that, he helped the Brethren of the Sword fight and defeat Cyrus Bahadur.

After the war, he went back to his volcanic lair in the Mitte Mountains. However his son had a more active roll in the Second War. To his father, he has an unnatural obsession with the world of men.

Stribro'ohen was not like other Flame Wyrms. His red scales started to give way to more metallic silvery scales. He started donning the title and name of Titanius. The worlds first and only Titanium Dragon. Though his exploits and stature would not and has not fully become appreciated yet.

 K'Thul Fire-Beard

Son to Thindin Brewmaster, King of the Obru(Dwarves) of Amon Gost, and heir to the throne. Avoided his responsibility to the throne by leaving the kingdom in favor of adventuring beyond Amon Gost. He and his father had a bit of a falling out. He has found himself a new home in the Selatan mountains near Estrada. He was destined to be the Sixth King of Ammirdor.

After the day of Armageddon, Thindin Brewmaster died from a cave-in. Two Dwarven heroes went to go search for the Sixth King of Ammirdor. After finding him, K'Thul finally embraced his herritage and became K'Thul Brewmaster, Sixth King of Ammirdor.

Gerolt Ironheart

World Renown Blacksmith. He was in actuallity a Obru Titan Immortal.  Probably the eldest known Obru in the known world, older than a typical dwarf. He passes himself off as a short stout human and takes on different names and lives far away from civilization to give the appearance that he is in fact several people from the same family line and just assumes his son every 25-30 years or so.

Gerolt has in his possession the True Forge; an artifact responsible for making some of the most powerful legendary items in existence. He himself used it to help make the Sword of the Brotherhood over seven thousand years ago.

He knew about the Shield of the Brotherhood.

After the Day of Armageddon, his soul was infused into the True Forge.

Dr. James Hewlett

Only came to prominence after the end of the Second Brotherhood War. He is a Scholar that operates independently from the First Order of Wizards and is sort of their competition when it comes to ancient artifacts and archaeology. He started his carrier to share magical knowledge with the general population instead of hording it for just the Gifted like the First Order of Wizards do.

Boniface Bahadur

Brethren of the Sword, Wielder of Brotherhood, Regent of Xantonia, Man who braved the Underworld. This man started out as a patrolman of the great Norden Barrier of Uttara. He rose to become a hero of the Brotherhood War, freeing Daksina from the oppression of his Father, whom he didn't know was related till after his death.

After the Day of Armageddon, his roll of Regent became that of a ceremonial one. His influenced waned, but that didn't stop him from helping save the world again. He eventually married Calliopa, who secretly bore his child from before the Day of Armageddon.

Dagon and Yori

Two Dwarves sent to find the sixth king of Amirdor. Along their journey they found the True Forge and Gerolt's soul and became Mythics. With this new found power, they find the Brethren of the Sword and help unite the Kingdoms of Natuna against the Gyaraha Samragja.

Daksina

Astera Kohinoor

High Oracle of Naradyl and Forerunner of the United Soverence Council. She keeps the peace within Daksina and enforces the law.

That was until the Invasion of the Xantonian Empire and Cyrus started hunting down all magic users and outlawing magic.

After most of the Wizards Coven were killed, she was forced to flee towards Uttara to search for the Grand Master himself.

Toward the end of the First Brotherhood War, she regained her status as Forerunner of the United Soverence Council and Oracle to the Daksinian Alliance.

After the Day of Armageddon, she lost her memory and was captured by the Gyaraha and held captive for over fifteen years. That was until the Brethren of the Sword rescued her and returned her to Naradyle. She now serves as Warden of the South in Naradyle.

She is one of the few Titans left over from the Primordial war from over 7 thousand years ago.

Razlon Kernapia

Former and late Master Wizard to the Wizard's Coven. Betrayed said coven for Cyrus Bahadur, and sold his services to Queen Rachael II of Tanamura. He killed Gaius early on in the brethren of the swords' adventure, Tessa's twin brother, before being killed himself by a mishap with the tearing of the Veil while battling Gavin.

King Lycan

Chief Monarch of Azzemour up until the day of Armageddon.

During the First War, Bahadur could not kill Lycan do to the fact that he was an Immortal Titan from before the Primordial War. Instead, he cursed him to the Wolf. He became the worlds first Proto Werewolf. They named the disease after him (Lycanthrope).

After the day of Armageddon, he lost his memories and probably his humanity and lived permanently as a wolf.

Sacha and Rayna

Fraternal Twin brother and sister Bastards of King Lycan, however have influence over the old realm of Azzemour with the occupation of the Kingdom of the North.

Rayna has married Hjalmar Helger-son of Estrada to gain influence. Hjalmar knew going into this marriage it was so that each of them would gain influence over the lands. However, Rayna took things one step further... or more. The children she bore for Hjalmar are not actually his.

Rayna and Sacha are not just the offspring of King Lycan, they also have their father's blood in them. When King Lycan embraced his inner wolf, so did they, unbeknownst to the population. Ever since then, they have had a crazy notion that their blood was holy. Unlike King Lycan, they did not regain their sanity when they embraced their wolf. Instead they had a skewed sense of morality. The Twins wanted to keep their line pure, so they mated with each other and the children bore were of that incestuous relation.

Rayna and Sacha intend on weeding out Hjalmar's line and succeeding him with their own. They have taken others into their fold by converting them into Lycanthropes... or Lycans. They have formed a coven of Lycans behind the scene. They eventually want to expand their influence over Estrada and into one of the other 3 Kingdoms.

Sacha is serving as a royal envoy to the Kingdom of the North, to help keep the peace between Estrada and the North.

Things soon changed with the reemergence of the Brethren of the sword, including Haldis Helger-child. Threatened by he mere existence, Rayna was forced to move up her plans and try to assassinate the former High Queen of Estrada as well as the current High King. Both attempts failed, however she was able to briefly gain power.

She struck a deal with the Gyaraha to maintain that power and allow the Old world to continue their incursion through the north.

When the North was successfully able to fight back and reclaim Estrada, the Twins went into hiding.

Overall, these two never seem to die. They always choose to run than face their fate. They are now sort of recurring villains in the world, occasionally hatching schemes to gain power. [Think of the Duras Sisters]

King Maitre Espion

Posing as a prince to Dales, he successfully seduced and married Tessa to get close to the Brethren of the Sword for Cyrus Bahadur. He helped them in their adventures, only betraying them when they threatened to help freeing Privni Sopka from his extortion from Cyrus and undoing his plans.

He was killed by the Brethren of the sword, however, Tessa was so heart broken, that Giles made a deal with the aspect of Diablos to bring him back as Tessa though he was before the betrayal.

From then on, Maitre literally though he was the person he was the person he was originally pretending to be. He lost all his real memories, being replaced by the false persona of Maitre Espion.

After the end of the First Brotherhood War, he went on a self exile and later a pilgrimage to answer the call of Diablos to help Giles obtain the blessing of the Nine.

He was last seen in the temple of Tananim shortly before the day of Armageddon.

Ever since he encountered Tananim, he has regained his lost memory. He feigned ignorance and kept a low profile until Armegeddon. He took command of Greater Tanamura as the formerly lost king. To solidify his claim, he married Princess Rachael (Tessa's niece), who helped him not knowing that Giles and Tessa were alive, and also not knowing of Espions true heritage. He has fathered 3 children with Rachael. An attempt to sow is oats in the land.

When the Kingdom of the North has claimed Greater Tanamura as its own. He was trying to find a way to gain more influence as Warden of the West and gain power once again. He grudgingly assists the King of the North keep his own people in check as well as those in Nersia.

Towards the end of the Second War, Tessa Tanamura made a deal with the Kingdom of the North to replace Maitre Espion as Monarch of Greater Tanamura and be the Warden of the West. During this transition, it seemed that Maitre Espion was assassinated. It was never confirmed who was responsible, though some speculate that it was the King of the north tying up loose ends.

Kendrik

North Advisor to Espion and Voice of King of the North. He is there to kept an eye on Espion to make sure he didn't do anything that will affect the prosperity of Uttara's presence in Daksina.

Kendrik was blamed for the assassination of Maitre Espion, citing that he didn't want Espion to give up his crown. He was executed for his crime.

Findecano Nenharma

Was Carnesir (Warden) of the Sudlands from after the Day of Armageddon until the end of the Second War. He made his base of operations in Merchantile in the Sultana's Palace. He was attracted to Sultana Caliopa, even though she shuned him whenever she could. His main goal is to conquer the north, and is annoyed that Xantonia is still standing, and the Far North is now an issue. He is led the campaign to rid the world of Primordial influence, however he could. The Events 15 years ago have shown him that the world of man is corrupted beyond salvation and it needs to be purged or conquered like thousands of years ago, during the old times. He plans of using his latest weapon against the world of men. The Skretti (Also known as Super Soldiers or Orcs).

He was indeed successful in creating his new super weapon, the Skretti. He almost conquered Daksina with them. He would have succeeded If it were not for the combined alliance of the new world. Towards the end of the Second War, he had unknowingly become a thrall of the Primordial King himself. His roll was to continue the War of man for as long as possible to allow Velkynikitel long enough time to break free of his restraints.

After his defeat, he has returned to the Gyaraha Samrajya.

Sultana Calliopa

Sultana of Penchura.

After the Day of Armageddon, she became a puppet leader of the Old world to maintain order. While overtly working with her conquers, she was in covert rebellion against them. And while she had no taste for the Samrajya, she does not like the way the Thieves guild rebellion were handling things either. She bore Boniface's son in secret, and hid her away on a hidden Penchura Island to the South called Isla Amazo. There she seeded the start of the Alzati, a league of Assassins. She is using them to take out priority targets, silently. She wishes that one day, Penchura will once again be free from oppression.

She eventually got her wish at the end of the Second War. She married Regent Boniface Bahadur, solidifying the alliance between the Sudland and Xantonia.

Jezebel Calliopa

Daughter to Sultana Calliopa, and unknown to her for quite some time; Boniface. All her life, she has been raised to hate men, due to the prejudice of her mentors and peers. She has been trained since a child in the art of killing people. Her tactical mind and her OCD allow her to be very proficient in what she does.

After the end of the Second Brotherhood War, she married General David Theago to further solidify the alliance between Penchura and Xantonia.

"The Minotaur"

Hero of the night in Tanamura. He has taken on the mantle of the Montaur to strike fear in the hearts of those who would pray on the fearful. He is a symbol of Justice in the world and works outside the law.

His true identity is that of Bruce Demi, a rich Lord of Tanamura. He uses his money and intellect to enhance his heroics, including magitek technology from the Old World..

Alexander

Also an Immortal from the Primordial War. He was a Thane in the Shadowrack Clan in Estrada/Umbralands until he met Tessa Tanamura. The two fell in love and eventually married.

His time spent in the Umbralands had corrupted him. He became the Proto-Vampire. His curse ultimately led to the death of Tessa when she bore their last child, Anastasia.

After her death, Alexander went mad and did anything and everything he could to bring Tessa back to life. He was even willing to kill his own daughter to do so.

To this day, no one knows of Alexander whereabouts (well... no one in universe knows... The DM knows... hahahaha)

Priors

Originally 13 of them, each representing one of the heads of their god, Tattuvamm. Through the Second Brotherhood war, their numbers dwindled in their plan to bring back their god and the Primordial King. Not all the Priors were accounted for after the war. While most of them are dead, there are a few roaming around somewhere causing trouble whenever they can.

Ghate

the Litch - Ghate has been gaining knowledge and power from the Sky Sanctary. He plans on using the Umirty Forrest and all the graves there, he plans on raising an army of epic proportions against the world of man.

Odin

Found in the Umbralands, he became the foster son and ward of Tessa Tanamura. After the day of Armageddon, and the loss of his Foster mother, he went out on his own. He became a dragon slayer or Dragon Knight of sorts. He somehow merged with Azdin's spirit as they became like of mind. A New age Dragoon.

Oswin

New Headmistress to the Wizards college in Naradyle. She took over when the Kingdom of the North took over Daksina. She has been trending the students teachings towards helping the North. She herself is a mysterious Wizard from the North and has close ties to the King of the North.

She is very diplomatic overall, and has assisted in the transition of several Wardens for the Kingdom of the North. It is rumored her arcane powers rival that of Gavin... though some would argue that no one rivals that of Gavin.

Wyot (Former Warden of the South)

Warden of the South. He comes from Uttara, even from Woodshire. It is possible the PC's know him. He was on the ruling council of Uttara 18 years ago. When the King of the North took over, he was reassigned to an important position within the new Kingdom. He was given everything the King of the North promised him and because of that, he has respect for the King of the North. He keeps the people of the area of Naradyle and Azzemour under control.

After the end of the Second Brotherhood War, he relinquished his position as Warden of the South to the more capable hands of Astera.

Edmund

Former Warden of the East. Former Silversmith of Chelton, he was promised wealth and power in service of the King to the North. He ruled from Gaulisar, and kept the Chelts inline for the North. He also kept check on the Xantia Mountains to make sure the Xantonians didn't do anything.

That was until Lilias Eachann came out of nowhere after 15 years of being absent and replaced him as Warden of the East and Queen of Chelton once again. Now he has taken control of the Silversmiths, trying to restore order and power to the once forsaken house.

Magni Skjoldur-Son

Jarl of the Shadowrack Clan, was the only Estra clan that didn't abide by the Neutrality agreement imposed by High King Hjalmar. In fact, he and the Shadowrack clan were in their "home" territory in the Umbralands behind enemy lines during the Second Brotherhood War. They  attacked all Samrajya convoys moving through the Umbralands in guerrilla warfare combat style. They had taken the mantle of the Umbraland Bull to show their anger upon the Elves.

Onag, The Destroyer

The First of Findecano Nenharma's new weapons, he is and was the leader of the new species... The Skretti. He never liked his master too well, however he has been raised to be loyal to the Gyaraha, and thirsts for combat.

"Brill" Brilltroar Gellantara

Wizard in the old Wizard's Coven, is now a historian in the arcane arts in the Wizards College. Ever since the appearance of the Primordial King, he has been obsessed with defeating it, fearing his return. Oswin has allowed him to do this as the threat of the reappearance of Velkynicetel concerns everyone that know the old history. Currently looking for the Shield of the Brotherhood. He keeps a journal with him that details everything he knows about the Shield of the Brotherhood.

He eventually helps the Brethren of the Sword find the Shield of the Brotherhood and defeat the Primordial King. After the Second Brotherhood war, he has settled down and went back to his studies as historian of the Wizards College.

Dyame

Husband of the Chieftess of the Kahnawake Tribe. He once helped the Brethren of the sword on numerous occasions.

First in tracing the blight back to a disgruntled Poison Wyrm from Darsana Jungle. Again in curing of King Lycan of his Wolf Madness. Assisting in the final assault against the Xantonian Empire at the end of the First Brotherhood war. And one last time in fighting back against the elves at the end of the Second Brotherhood War.

He is now far too old for adventuring. He has settled down as an elder in the Kahnawake tribe.

Dyame has two animal companions. A Horse and an Eagle.

Talula

Has been the Talean Housecarl of the Jarl of the Sons of Azdin up until the anointment of the First High Queen of Estrada. Since then, she has been the Housecarl of either the High Queen Haldis or High King Hjalmar. She has served the Sons of Azdin loyally ever since Haldis' father Helger saved her life long ago. She is originally from the Chaperok Tribe in Talea.

Hjalmar Helger-son

Legitimate High King of Estrada after the day of Armageddon and the death of his older Sister, Haldis. He is probably the most well educated Estra in recent history. This has only served him well as chief monarch of such a barbaric race of people.

Haldis Helger-child

First Female Jarl of the Sons of Azdin. First High Queen of Estrada. Reincarnated Helgar Azdin-son. Wielder of Brorskap. Brethren of the Sword. That is just to name a few accomplishments. Overall, her reign over Estrada only lasted a few years. However it was arguably the most impactful reign in the Kingdom's history since the Primordial War. She died, after reclaiming the Legendary Hammer of the gods to defeat and destroy a Primordial General, Tattuvamm.

Lilias Eachann

Was the bastard daughter of the Last King of Chelton. She became a chivalrous knight and took it upon herself to take up the duty of defending the wall.

After her families death, and attempted coup from the Silversmiths, Lilias Legitimized her claim upon the throne and became Queen of Chelton. During the final months of the Second Brotherhood War, she married Haldis Helger-child.

The two of them somehow managed to have two children of their own, though Haldis would never live to see them. It was apparently a wish granted to them by Azdin himself. Lilias bore the children and Haldis apparently Sired them. They had twins. However, these twins had greater destinies of their own. Lilias would not be able to raise them.

The Daughter, Freya, was sent into the future to be a hero in that time. While Odin was sent into the past to become Tessa's Foster son and become a Dragon Slayer and first Newage Dragoon.

Sir Guy

Chelt Liaison between Greater Tanamura and Naradyle. He was once a Blue Rose Dragoon of Chelton before being reassigned to assist in the rebuilding of the Daskinian Alliance during the First Brotherhood War.

Balian

Up until the end of the First Brotherhood War, Balian was a leading member of the Blue Rose Dragoons. That was until he had gotten orders to not protect the Forerunner Astera, at which point he deserted his post to continue to Protect her as a matter of Honor.

After the First Brotherhood War, he was reinstated in the Order of the Blue Rose Dragoons as their leader; and was one of the few supporters of Lilias' return fifteen years after the Day of Armageddon.

Theodore Bernard

A Simya Alchimest that always seems to cause so much trouble despite his best intentions. First, accidentally becoming Zerstörung... a Terrorist that Blew up a third of Naradyle and a hole in the Umbraland Wall. Next, not telling the world about his research on the growing Salt Dome that contained Cancer, an ancient Primordial Kaiju.

These failures have continuously haunted him... and he always tries to do better... (watch out world)

Tessa Tanamura

Brethren of the Sword, Wielder of Dravadek Luk, Brewer of Apple-shot, Queen of Greater Tanamura, Warden of the West. She has helped save the world numerous times. She started out as a simple woods guide in Uttara before becoming a Brethren of the Sword and finding out she was heir to the Throne of Tanamura. She helped unite Daksina against the Xantonians in the First War, and helped unite them once again against the Elves of the South in the Second.

She married Alexander of the Shadowwrak Clan. She died in Childbirth of her fourth child. She has left a legacy.

Giles

Brethren of the Sword, Wielder of Avatar, The Greatest Doctor in the World, Summoner of the Nine. This man helped saved the world. He probably lost his sanity trying to gain the power of the nine. His ultimate sacrifice came after the death of the Primordial King, when he made a deal with Xell to revive all that had fallen in the Second Primordial War in exchange of his own life. Since Giles was the only being to have summoned the nine, Xell deemed his life worth that of everyone that died in that terrible war and made it so.

Kongia

King of the Botuns, (Frost Giants) atleast until near the end of the First Brotherhood War, when he was slain by the Brethren of the Sword.

Kyra, the witch of Alandria

Secretly an Eladrin, this is a beautiful witch of extraordinary power. Her true affiliations are always shrouded in mystery, though she has helped the Brethren of the Sword. However, that might have been due to mutual interest in the world not being destroyed. She has had some kind of relations with Gavin in the past, though even that is shrouded in mystery.

She lives in Alandria, a place that can be reached by scaling the tallest mountain in the known world, Mt. Ulymp. This place seems to exist in another plane of existence, despite the physical prime material plane ways of getting there. This might have to do with her strange magic.

Uttara

Gavindor Qel-Amon

Grand Master of the Wizard's Coven. He used to be General of the Daksinian Army during the last war, before he put a stop to it by errecting the Great Barriers.

He resided in hiding in Uttara, after bringing with him both the heir to the throne of Xantonia.

Towards the end of the First Brotherhood War, Gavin helped the Brethren of the Sword reunite Daksina under one banner to fight against the Xantonian Invasion.

After the First War, he established the Wizzards College to help young gifted minds in the ways of the Arcane arts. Though that roll soon fell to Oswin after the Day of Armageddon, when Gavin went missing and presumed dead.

After Gavin was found at the end of the Second War, he re-purposed his efforts in uniting the world of magic under one roof and formed the First Order of Wizzards.

Obadias Shedrik

A former adventurer, before the Great Barriers came up. He also hid the Sword of the Brotherhood in Uttara, perhaps so that one day he could go adventuring again, or pass it on to one of his sons. He died shortly before the Brethren of the Sword was formed in the First War.

The King of the North

A mysterious man that rules from the North somewhere in Uttara. He is a man who rules through manipulation, negotiation and intimidation. He always pays his debts. That is the reputation he has given himself. There are always people plotting around him. Some for some against. He always makes sure he is one step ahead of them.

He places people he can use in key locations, whether they know it or not.

There is bad blood between the peoples of Xantonia and Uttara, so he doesn't associate with them. He also does not like the incursion from the Old world and wants to rid Daksina of them.

The King of the North is not above working with people of less than reputable to get what he wants... Even the Priors. He knows they do represent a potential threat, but because of the PC's they are not as influential as before and he keeps a watchful eye one them.

Towards the end of the Second War, he sees the influence that the Brethren of the Sword were gaining, so he struck a deal with them in order to integrate that influence under his own.

Adair

Warden of the North. Was speaker of the Uttaran Ruling council, until the King of the North took over. The King of the North promised him power and safety for Uttara in exchange for serving him. Now he rules over Uttara, North of the Norden Mountains.

The Old World

Leon: A Dark knight.

Bhai: An Engineer (uses magitek to fight)

Viera: A Red Mage and Sahasi second in command.
