After the first session, it has become clear to me that the story line i had planned will not work out for the current PC's.

The Campaign i was planning for involved a very well structured story having the PC's being involved in a military group.

As far as Sofi and Jesska go... they seem be interested in a... different enviroment.

So instead of continuing as planned, i will save this story for Group 1.

Instead of starting over completely, I will change the story in progress. They are after an Artifact in some ruins to the south of Ghundlehall.

Instead of it being the amulet of the forgotten King, I can change it to be a powerful artifact that after the PC's intervention, causes them to shift realities. I will take advantage of my new idea of an alternate reality in which Terra Nima was destroyed and Terra Ora Survived.

Perhaps this artifact will be sinonimous to the shikon jewel from inuyasha? hmmm.... nothing too obvious.

Perhaps a Xell Crystal? Now that's more interesting. But how does it change realities? Time is a manipulation of light, therefor would have to do with the second tier of Xell Crystals. Light and Dark.

The Light Xell Crystal (most of it atleast), resides in the Xantonian Galaxy.

The Xell Crystal of Darkness however, has yet to have a good story line.

Perhaps another way to manipulate time is through darkness as well.

Negative Energy...

Once they get there, I already have ideas involving the world they live in. To the North is an endless desert waistland.

In place of Kried, there is another city of equal standing... Kried... One of the few common landmarks between this word and the last.

But before we go to far into this other world... lets finish up in this one...

The Xell Crystal of Darkness... a Black Rock... devoid of light.

Why did it surface to begin with? Why hasn't someone found it before? That is the question isn't it. Morgan, the Goddess of Darkness is represented by this jewel. Lawful Evil in Alignment. So what is it doing there?

Perhaps it was put there by a conveniant plot device.

The Black Pearl Cyndicate... A Band of Pirates with a Breatheren Code. They are after such a jewel... but perhaps they did not come from this world. Perhaps they came from the "other" world...

One Thousand Years ago... It was the Time of People Eve. A Great Evil was fortold. The Trinities came together to fight this evil... but they got it wrong. They thought the Evil was Lukimea... It was not... With their attention miss focused, it caused a rip in the fabric of reality. or was that it? Something more basic...

It came down to a Wizard... Mirdan... He had posession of the Moment...

Terra Ora... one thousand years ago...

Lukimea was threatening to destroy Terra Ora.

Mirdan had an artifact... one that would give him the power to make one single complete act.

In our world, Mirdan had decided to use it to save all of his friends from the impending doom, by sending them to Terra Nima... but in the process, doomed his homeworld of Terra Ora.

What if that Artifact was the Black Xell Crystal!?

Knowing the Evil properties of the Xell Crystals, Mirdan was hesitant to use it to destroy. He feared an even worse outcome if he had used the Xell Crystal of Darkness in such a way... so he used it to send he and his friends to Terra Nima... Once they arrived, the Crystal was gone.

Perhaps the Crystal was in the Alternate reality...

That Same desision... one thousand years ago... redone...

Mirdan, fearing the outcome by using the crystal to destroy, instead used it to send Lukimea to Terra Ora. Doing so prevented Terra Nima from being warned of the impending doom. The Trinities did not unite and Lukimea was sucsessful in destroying Terra Nima instead of Terra Ora.

Later, Lukimea did come back to Terra Ora... but by this time, James had rallied together the forces of this planet in time.

Again, James was forced to sacrafice his would to seal Lukimea away forever.

Mordified by what he had done, Mirdan went into seclusion in a tower of his making in the middle of the wasteland.

Xeck and Adrian also lived in seclusion... they would later have a baby girl. Natalie

Xeik went on his own personal mission to find the missing Xell Crystals, which all disapeared after the Encounter with Lukimea, save the Black one. Disturbed by this, he went off. It is said that he was never seen again.

What actually happened was that like in the home universe, he was sent a thousand years into the future.

He now lives among the people.

There is another tidbit to add to this.

Chronus is here as well. Under the guise of Arturus, emperor of Kried. We'll get to him in a second.

Firstly is the Black Pearl Syndicate.

They stole the Black Xell Crystal from Emperor Arturus. In a desperate atempt to flee is awesome power, they used it to be transported to the Kried of our world, Terra Nima.

Though there was an issue with this... When they did so, they put their own world into jepordy.

The Dark Xell Crystal could make a portal of Negative energy between the two worlds. The Black Pearl Syndicate had sufficiant protection to allow them safe passage without the Dark Xell Crystal... but the Alternate World was a world entirly of the Black Xell Crystal's making. Mirdan's conflicting noble thoughts clashing with the Xell Crystal is what caused the rift in time to be formed... however, without the Xell Crystals in the world, everything would eventually die out as ironic as that seemed.

Realizing this, the Black pearl syndicate stopped at nothing to try and bring the Xell Crystal back with them. Their stay did not go unnoticed though. Sensing the dark powers of the artifact, the Southern Alliance sent the Ghost Hawks to retrieve it...

However, the PC's will get caught up in this little event.

Perhaps one of the Syndicate members kills Lieutenant Tyler right before he uses the artifact.

All the PC's as well as the Syndicate will be transported back to the Land of Alb'ien, on the continent of Thule, on the world of Terra Ora.

Here, the ruins will be intact. A Temple of Avalonia... a place that exists in both words, it is places like Kired and the Temple of Avalonia where the gate between worlds can be formed since they are common to both worlds.

It is here that the Black Pearl Syndicate chose to use the artifact.

Their reasoning was that they had left it there to go search for another common place in the world of Terra Nima, but they could not find one. When news of the deteriorating alternate world reached their ears along with reports of the southern alliance descovering the wearabouts of their artifact, they had no choice but to use it there.

They had hoped to use it somewhere north of Terra Ora's great desert to get away from Emperor Arturus, but their time had runout... especially when the Ghost Hawks arrive.

Now the Ghost Hawk's are stranded without a leader in a alien world.

As soon as they arive at the Temple of Avalonia, the BPS takes their leave with the Artifact.

The PC's will soon discover that Emperor Arturus has outlawed the use of all Magic in Albien. Anyone associated with Magic is automatically sentanced to death.

This poses as a problem for the PC's as they radiate with magic.

Infact, they will be thrusted into an encounter with the Temple guard because of their arrival.

The only place free of Arturus' control is north of the wasteland... however there is no way through it. Atleast no non-magical way. The only known way is to sail around it... however there are few ships that can make the journey.

To make matters worse, the Black Pearl Syndicate are outlaws so asking around about them wont help them either.

Lucky for them however, is an underground netwrok of people who oppose Arturus. A network that the PC's could use.

Perhaps Races like elves and orcs are dispised by Arturus as well. Maybe?

Now once the PC's get there, they need modivation or something. Perhaps the need to get back will send them on their own adventure to find the members of the Black Pearl Syndicate who have that interdimentional Artifact.

Probably the first questions they will have will be:

Where are we?

How did we get here?

How do we get back?

and so on.

Now... there should be another story tie in that focus' the parties actions.

For typing sake, lets sugest the inuyasha story line. Half monster or half demon that was sealed that is no longer sealed that joins the part? No.

Maybe a Final Fantasy X esk story line. The PC's shows up to a strange new word that is plagued by the Tarrasque. There could be a whole religion based around that the Tarrasque was made to punish those that use magic. And there woulod be an underground movment bent on proving otherwise.

The PC's goto the ruins.

Lt. Tyler is sporting a strange compass that locks onto the largest magical aura in the area. He uses it to guide the team further into the ruins.

Inisde the ruins, the Party will be attacked by a being of darkness... a nightshade perhaps. Lt. Taylor orders the party further in the ruins to escape (night shade is blocking the exit). This encounter should be obvious that the PC's have no hope in even atempting to defeat it.

As the PC's escape, Taylor dies, and the way out collapses behind them. The PC's will be stuck inside the temple ruins.

They will be until the Black pearl Syndicate come to activate the Xell Crystal, which was being protected by a sphere of invisibility floating above. When they activate the crystal, everyone in the room is transported to the alternate Terra Ora.

Traveling through worlds will be a surreal experiance. There will be visions of the PC's flaoting underwater, and being consumed by a giant maw.

The PC's will wake up, floating face up in the water, just off the coast... it was a sunny day. Everyone will feel weak. Luckily there will be people that were on the beach who notcied them and will help them to shore.

If the PC's mention anything about Terra Nima, the NPC's will assume that they experianced mental trama from the Tarrasque. People who have gotten too close to it have been known to have shared dilusions.

It will also be aparent that Magic is not all that common in this world. The PC's themselves will all have some sort of magic. The NPC Fozel will be a bit simpathetic to the PC's, as he believe that they got the mind toxen from the Tarrasque, since in his religion, the Tarrasque came to destroy magic, even though it is everyone burden to bare. He does warn the PC's that use of any magic around most people would not be a very good idea to do. People would shun them, throw stones, or worse.

He does go into more of an explination. Arturus, the Emperor of all of Albien has forbade the use of magic for as long as anyone can remember under penalty of death. There are those that defy him still, ones that live on the outskirts of the Albien Empire.

The PC's find themselves on Avalon Island. There are ruins everywhere here, from a civilization that used to live here and had gotten destroyed by the Tarrasque.
