Sthenicles explains that in the Whisper Woods is a magically enchanted forest that prevents most forms of discerning location, causing most of the people to get lost. Sthenicles has a charm around his neck to prevent the magic from taking hold. He is here because one of his labors is to Slay the Erymanthean Boar, which is supposed to be a terror of one of the local Beast folk tribes.
