Puratana

The Southern portion of the continent that Natuna is part of. It is in effect the "Old World" and the origin of the ancient humans before the great migration.

It is home to most notably the Gyaraha Samrajya, or the Elven Empire. However, it is home to many more cultures.

Gyaraha Samrajya

The Elven Empire. Most notable military and technologically advanced nation in Puratana. They use artificial magically powered technology as their main technological infrastructure . Magi-tech powered by artificial Veil Shards. (Artificial Veil Shards are Red.)

This Technology is prevalent in this Culture. They use it to power everything from lights to powerful war machines known as Magitech Armor.

However, the use of this technology is not used by everyone in the Empire. The Central Government and the Military are primary users of Magi-tech. Because of this, outsiders usually assume the entire Empire has this theme.

The Samrajya is made up of several member states.

Shahea Shahara - The Capital of the Gyaraha Samrajya. This City-State has the most prevalent usage of Magitech. This is home to the throne of the Samraata (Emperor)himself. With the rising shortage of Artificial Veil Shards, the lower city has fallen to ruin in favor of the richer upper city.

Jangalee - Home to the Van Gyaraha or Wild Elves. A Race of Gyaraha who live in the Jungle wilds themselves and live closer to nature. These Elves tend to ornate themselves in tribal tattoos. Even to other elves, these elves are more xenophobic to all outside races. The Empire treats it as a territory but otherwise tends to ignore it. Trade between the Wild Elves and outsiders is almost unheard of. With the recent rise in magic, these Wild Elves have started practicing in bloodmagic.

Mahat - Home to the Mahaan Gyaraha or High Elves. A Noble monarchical order of Elves dedicated to the Protection and preservation of the Pareepa, a cathedral sized tree, the symbol of their religion and nation. They serve as the religious leaders of the Samrajya.

Vudalaind - Home to the Hara Gyaraha or Wood Elves. While not as Feral as the Van, the Hara live in the forest, usually in elevated cities suspended by the trees, connected by bridges. They are more than the other civilized elves that reject the magitech technology.

Parvat - Home to the Gagan Gyaraha or Sky Elves. This is a mostly mountainous region. These elves tend to practice astrology in their remote mountain citadels. This is also home to the last of the largest reserves of Artificial Veil Shards in the region, making them one of the wealthiest states in the Samrajya.

Magarib - Home to the Eshiyaee Gyaraha or the West Elves (Literal translation is Asian Elf). Located near the Western most coast of the Samrajya. Its culture is influenced by the port trade that occurs, possibly from long ago. Out of all the city states, Magarib is the most culturally diverse and accepting of all the elven territories. They are accepting and tolerate a variety of other races.

Dhumaila - Home of the Bhoora Gyaraha or the Grey Elves. They live in a swampy region constantly covered in fog. It is here they practice strange dark magics as of late, where they take the souls of the dead to create newer artificial veil shards. The Swamp is home to many graves and corpses which makes it perfect for their magic use.

Aarakshan - This is the region that the Samrajya keep the Kuleen Sainik, or Super Soldiers; a genetically engineered Elite Military used in the War with the New World. This is more of a reservation, as the land here is not as hospitable or useful to the Samrajya otherwise. Growing tensions between the various states of the Samrajya have only aggravated the situation. The Kuleen up until this point have been loyal to a fault, but they are rewarded with distain and prejudice.
