Kilren Side Quests

Killren will have an anger managment issue. It stems from his draconic herritage and a mix of his dwarven herritage which involves Tordek awakening the power of Oreah within himself. Since Kilren was concepted after the awakening of the Power of Oreah in Tordek, Kilren is having his own issues.

Deep within his blood, Kilren is battling with more primal forces at work.

Technically, He is half-Gold Dragon, half-dwarf. However that Gold Dragon blood is being overwritten with the primal instincts of the Primal Dragon within him.

It stems back to the Days of Old when the First Breeds still roamed the land. The First Breeds where only the first of the Metallic and the Chromatic. There was infact an even earlyer breed of Dragon's. They were the Primordial Dragons or Primal Dragons. Mostly these Dragons had no concept for Good an Evil, but for emotions.

Vendit was the Terra Dragon. Because of the Tear of Yugdaib, he was corrupted into something sinister. A Being of pure Rage.

He was defeated a very long time ago by the one called The Mountain Cutter.

His will persists to this day, in the form of the opposite side to the Power of Oreah. The Power of Yugdaib.

The First instance of the rage within Killren from manifesting he had no recollection of, as he was the only of there.

On the first Black Pearl... he went back to the ship for his carvings. Durring this fight, one of the Sailors had gotten a lucky hit of him, hitting Kilren between the eyes and killing him. All Killren remembers is seeing his father before waking up on the Flying Dutchman... (which would be renamed the Black Pearl)

However, when he died, something inside him was freed.

This is what actually happened involving the the dissapearance of the Black Pearl and the mutineers.

When Kilren died, he transformed into a Magma Dragon and slaughtered the crew and burning the ship unto ashes, sending it to the bottom of the Sea.

Afterwards, the water had snuffed out the magma Dragon and he reverted back to Kilren.

Since that instance, and his fathers help... the power within him was awakened.

It first starts off with Words of Power from High Draconian.

The next stage of the Primal instincts was triggered in a deep rage.

Now that the rage had been triggered, the next step in his quest will start.

Whenever Kilren takes a beast form, there is a chance that he will instead of what he is trying to change into, change into a Bear. This is only his own Primal Druidic powers protecting him from the greater threat. Then once he wants to change back, he has to roll a will save or be stuck inthe bear form for twenty four hours(?) or resting for 8.

Durring which time, he is angry for no other reason than because he is angry.

Upon death, Kilren makes a transformation into a Magma Dragon. His scales turn black with glowing red orange veins, and grows to the Large category. (depending on what level they are)

At which point he is uncontrolable and any allys in the area would have to deal with him.

The Rage becomes an issue and will have to be delt with.

In Saventh Yi, there is an artifact that is somewhat causing all of this to happen. It is a small jade statue of Vendit. It reacts to the Latent Xell Beast power within Killren.

Because of this primal energy, most animal spirits within Killren leave him. Only the Bear spirit remains.

Once this Jade statue is found he must enter it using his animal spirit.

Those that have awakened thier animal spirits can follow. (right now it just gordo and Killren)

In there they must fight the Primal Dragon inside of Killren. The Primal Dragon Offers him the power of the Magma Dragon through Rage.

Should Killren renounce this offer, his other animal spirit friends come to help him out in celestial form. After the battle ends, Killren grows antlers in his normal form, giving him a gore attack in addition to his other natural attacks.

More so, Killren can transform into his rightful heritage as a Gold Dragon. This comes from after having a vision from his Father, Tordek.

Should Killren accept the offer of the Magma Dragon, he would have to face his former Animal Spirit friends in celestial form. He would have the aid of the Magma Dragon at his side. After the Battle, Killren's golden scales would change to black with red/orange veins on a permanent basis.

More so, Killren can transform into a Primal Chaotic Magma Dragon. This comes from after having a vision from Vendit. Also never again will he see Tordek.

Gordo's Side Quest.

Gordo should have a cool side quest. But how should it play out with a character who's intelligence is so low?

Something that has to do with brute strength.

Need to confir with Leeford on this...

Gordo now has a minotaur Great Sword and Breast Plate. Maybe the sword speaks to him.

I just had an awesome Idea…

Gordo’s half brother… A full fledged Orc. Something about that…

Koteioku (Emperor Orc) Bushimaru (Perfect Warrior) is the man’s name…

He comes from a truly unique family of Orcs who rule in the Far East. Bushimaru is a samurai and an orc of great skill and nobility.

Gordo and Bushimaru’s mother left their empire in search for the ancestral homeland of their family. On her journey to the west, she encountered a powerful magic user who had used an enfeeblement spell on her to make her “dumber”.

By the Time she had made it to the west, she was dumb as bricks and was easily captured by human barbarians.

It was after and because of that Gordo was born.

Bushimaru had went in search for his mother for honor sake, and had discovered what had happened. Arriving too late to save his mother, he slaughtered the entire clan, leaving only Gordo alive to fend for himself. He didn’t kill Gordo immediately because there was a hint of noble blood in him, but since he was not a legitimate heir to the throne he would be exiled.

Gordo was then found by some slave traders and was sold into Slavery only to be later liberated by Captain Bonny Enilef.

Nowdays, Bushimaru has a different goal in mind. He is after the mage who had enfeebled his mother and caused her to die, in search for revenge in her honor.

His search has led him to Saventh Yhi, where much of his information has led him, as the mage user was a serpentfolk (perhaps the last boss).

Bushimaru would have strong connections will other extra human royal families including Azrael’s mother.

Bushimaru is/will be far from happy to meet his younger half-brother. Bushimaru views humans as a low cast compared to his noble heritage. Gordo doesn’t remember much from his childhood, but when he sees Bushimaru’s face, it will trigger a memory of their mother dieing at the hands of the barbarian tribe he came from, then Boshimaru taking revenge upon the tribe and slaughtering them.

Bushimaru and Gordo are polar opposites. Bushimaru is an intelligent and skillful fighter (samurai) will a personal code of conduct, while Gordo is a dumb and rage-full barbarian with no particular code of conduct.

Bushimaru travels only with his servant, Boku (servant). Boku is a goblin and poorly treated servant but is still loyal to Bushumaru. Boku is however, a talented Wizard and is capable of defending his master. His staff doubles as a banner for the Koteioku royal family.

They arrived in Saventh Yhi via ship.

A good first interaction between Gordo and Bushimaru should be an eventful one. Perhaps the Minotaur sword Gordo has leads him to an artifact that the mage had used... but Bushimaru wanted it from Gordo… a fight maybe?

need to think on this.

Perhaps the PC’s are fighting a monster or someone who is too strong for them… or at least is giving them trouble, then Bushimaru shows up and tells the monster to get out of the way because he is walking through.

When the monster does not comply, Bushimaru one hits it with his Katana.

Bushimaru's sword should be something epic too. A sword only he can wield... and is powerful. It is called the Okuryutsume (Orc Dragon Claw)

His attack that he can unleash is the Okuryuha (The Orc Dragon Stream)

Maleeah's Side Quest.
